A full remodel, handled end to end
You get one point of contact, one crew and one written quote that covers every line of the job.
No surprise change orders for things that should have been in the scope.
- Demo and haul-away down to the studs and slab, with dust control and daily clean-up
- A new shower pan and sheet waterproofing, the part nobody sees and the part that keeps your tile tight in year ten
- Floor-to-ceiling tile, set by my crew, not a sub
- A walk-in or curbless shower, a soaking tub, or both
- Frameless glass, measured after the tile is in
- Vanity, quartz top, mirror, hardware and paint
- Plumbing fixture swaps on the existing lines; a licensed plumber for anything moved or added, and a licensed electrician for every fan, light, switch and outlet
The details
Bathrooms are what I do most, and the full remodel is where most of my calls start: a tired tub-and-tile combo, a vanity that eats the room, grout that never looks clean. Here's what a studs-out remodel includes.
Three ways to do it
Most Broward bathrooms land in one of three buckets.
I'll tell you which one yours is on the first visit.
- Keep the layout, replace everything: the $14,000 to $28,000 remodel. Same walls, same drain, all new surfaces and fixtures.
- The primary suite: layout changes, a double vanity, a curbless shower, custom tile. $28,000 to $55,000 or more, three to five weeks on site.
What moves the number
Four things decide the price, and you'll see each one on the quote.
- Size and layout. A 5 by 8 hall bath is a different job from a 10 by 12 primary. Moving the toilet, shower or vanity means re-routing drains and supply lines, and that alone can add $2,500 to $6,000.
- Tile and fixtures. In-stock porcelain and a stock vanity keep a full remodel near $14,000. Porcelain planks, large-format slabs, quartz and designer fixtures push the same footprint toward $28,000.
- Waterproofing done right. A sheet membrane, a properly sloped pan and cement board cost more up front than a quick mud job. They're the reason the tile is still tight in ten years.

What South Florida does to a bathroom
Humidity is brutal on a bathroom here.
Grout goes dark, caulk lets go, and a cheap exhaust fan never catches up. Most of the houses I work in were built between the 1960s and the early 2000s on a concrete slab, which changes how a curbless shower gets built and where a drain can go.
- Slab floors. A curbless shower means recessing the slab, raising the room, or a low-profile linear drain. I'll tell you which fits your house.
- Older drains. In older houses the drain under the tub is often cast iron; the plumber checks it before we tile over it, not after.
- Condos. I work with the association's rules on insurance certificates, elevator time and work hours, and build them into the schedule.
- Exhaust. A properly sized, ducted fan is on every quote. It's the least expensive thing that protects everything else.
The one-year guarantee, and what to expect
Every job is backed by the Done Right Promise: one year on our work.
If something isn't right, I come back and make it right. We also walk the finished bathroom together before the last payment. While we're there, expect this:
- A written schedule before we start, and a call if anything changes it
- Same crew every day, the site covered and swept every night
- Water back on by the end of each day whenever the plumbing allows
- The bathroom out of service for the full two weeks; most families plan around a second bath
Living with it afterwards
A tiled bathroom is easy to keep if you do three things: squeegee the glass, run the fan for 20 minutes after a shower, and reseal natural stone once a year.
Porcelain needs nothing. If a grout line or a bead of caulk gives you trouble in the first year, that's a phone call, not a bill.
Before and after.
A full remodel we finished: new tile, tub, vanity and a raised continuous shower height.
Real project: full remodel, new tile, tub, vanity, raised continuous shower height.

How the job runs. About two weeks.

Step 1
Demo to the studs
Everything comes out: tub, tile, vanity, the lot. Stubs get capped and the slab is swept clean before anything new comes in.

Step 2
Board and waterproofing
Cement board on the walls, the new valve roughed in, then a sheet membrane at every seam and corner. This is where leaks get prevented.

Step 3
Tile, set level
Large-format porcelain goes up with leveling clips so every edge sits flush. Floor first, walls next, niche and bench last.

Step 4
Glass, vanity and finish
Grout, the vanity and faucet, the glass door hung, hardware and paint. Then we clean the room like we were never there.

“Brad is a great contractor to work with. He pays attention to every detail. He built my house's bathroom that I really like. After finishing work, he cleans up every time. My husband and I love this bathroom so much we designed it together. And it came out like we intended. Would recommend.👍”

Remodel questions
Something else on your mind? Call or text (954) 242-5924.
How much does a full bathroom remodel cost in Broward or Palm Beach County?
Most run $14,000 to $28,000 depending on size, layout changes, tile and fixtures. A primary suite with a new layout and custom tile runs $28,000 to $55,000 or more. Every quote is free, written and itemized line by line.
How long will my bathroom be out of service?
About two weeks for a full bath, start to finish. Layout changes or a large primary suite take three to five weeks. You get the schedule in writing before we start and a call if anything moves it.
Do you handle permits?
Yes, we can help with permits. Ask us about your job when we come to look.
Can you move the shower, tub or toilet to a new wall?
On most houses, yes. I'll tell you straight if it isn't worth it or if there's a smarter way to get the look.
Do I have to pick all the materials myself?
Only if you want to. Most clients pick the look they're going for and let me guide tile, fixtures, vanity and lighting choices that fit the budget. I'm happy to meet you at the tile shop.
What's the best time of year to remodel a bathroom in South Florida?
Any month works inside the house. Two practical notes: skip the week guests are coming, and if you're a seasonal resident, late spring through fall is when my schedule is most open.
